Named as one of Forbes 30 under 30 for 2022 in Social Impact, Ed Johnson is a tech startup entrepreneur, with a background in digital marketing and online business growth. Having taught himself web development and digital marketing from the age of 9, Ed dropped out of school at 17 to join the digital marketing agency Ad Dynamo. Since then, Ed has held positions at Oracle, Zoopla and more recently as Head of Digital for Dragon's Den success ValueMyStuff.
In 2018, Ed co-founded the world-leading mentoring company, PushFar, which was subsequently recognised as one of the UK's top startups. The platform is widely acknowledged as best-in-class software and is now used by hundreds of companies. By the end of 2022, PushFar had enabled more than 1.5 million hours of mentoring. In July 2023, PushFar was acquired by London-based private equity firm ScaleUp Capital. Ed held his position as CEO of PushFar until January 2025, when he exited the business.
Ed is now in the early stages of developing his new venture, uRoutine, which is on a mission to help individuals and organisations to boost productivity, through the power of social accountability, focused on collaborative routines, goals and structure.
